Exercise Your Eye Vision

Some Simple Ways To Exercise Your Eye Vision

You should exercise your eye vision often, especially if you work behind a computer screen all day. This can cause serious eye fatigue and eye strain which could lead to further vision problems. Here are some simple exercises that will refresh and rejuvenate your eyes.

Sit in a chair and relax. Rub your hands until they get warm. Cup your hands and place them lightly over your closed eyes. Do not put pressure on the eyeballs, and do not cover your nose. Your eyes should be behind the hollow part of your palms. Don't let any light get into your eyes.

Breathe deeply and visualize total blackness. Focus fully on that blackness. Now think of something that makes you happy, or a spectacular panoramic view. When your eyes can nothing but the blackness, take your palms away. Repeat the procedure for about 3 minutes.

Another great eye exercise is to close your eyes really tightly for 3 to 5 seconds. Then open your eyes for the same period. Do this 7 or 8 times. Now close your eyes and, using your fingers, massage your eyes gently in a circular motion for 1 to 2 minutes. To complete this exercise, gently put 3 fingers of each of your hands on each eyelid and hold for 2 seconds before releasing. Repeat this 5 times.

Sit in a chair and relax. Roll your eyes in a clockwise motion, then anti clockwise. Do this 5 times, blinking between each time. Sit approximately 6 inches from a window. Put a mark on the glass to match your eye level. Look beyond this mark by focusing on an object far in the distance for about 10 to 15 seconds; then re-focus on the mark.

Here's another excellent way to exercise your eye vision. Pretend you are standing in front of a huge clock. Focus on the middle of it. Now look at an hour mark, but do not turn your head. Focus on the centre again and then look at a different hour mark. Repeat this 12-15 times. This exercise can also be done with closed eyes.
